The Team Race Art Technology / Swiss ŠKODA Motorsport welcomes to the ŠKODA Fabia R5, the new rally car made by the Czech firm ŠKODA Motorsport with 1.6 turbo engine with direct injection, four-wheel drive and a five-speed sequential gearbox. The new Fabia R5 born based on the third generation of the Fabia series and is heir to the award-winning Fabia Super 2000 that has assets of 50 national and international titles won since 2009. The Fabia R5 has obtained the FIA approval in April 2015, and debuted in the spring already obtaining excellent results in many national championships and several international rallies.
Attractive design and incredible features enhanced by the official livery, customized according to the characteristics and colors of the Swiss Confederation. The public presentation will be made at "Ticino Motor Expo", the main fair of Ticino of the two and four wheels, which will be held in Lugano in November from 20 to 22 at the Exhibition Center of the city, in Via Campo Marzio. An event that will bring together manufacturers, dealers and racing teams as well as all activities that deal with accessories, spare parts, clothing, and custom tuning.

TECHNICAL FEATURES ŠKODA FABIA R5
The new rally car ŠKODA is a concentrate of technological innovations. In accordance with the FIA, the all-new Fabia R5 is equipped with a 4-cylinder 1.6 turbo direct injection gasoline. The new car uses the four-wheel drive coupled with a five-speed sequential gearbox. The suspension is McPherson struts on both axles. The weight of the asphalt version is 1,230 kg. The designers and the technical team of ŠKODA Motorsport have worked hard for 15 months to develop the car and make a seamless integration between the various mechanical and electronic components.
