Returning to the challenges of the NWES Championship, Mauro Trione competes not only in the overall classification even in the "Challengers Trophy" category, the trophy that rewards the non-professional riders of ELITE 1. Currently in third place with 24 points from the leader Dario Caso, chasing his second Challenger Trophy in career after winning in 2016, with a lead of seven points on the second in the standings Kenko Miura. Mauro Trione came out of Tours as a potential claimant to the title after scoring his first top-10 of the season. The current gap could easily be filled in the playoffs, where the games attribute double points.

Instead, an open duel for our Francesco Parli and Jerry De Weerdt for the conquest of the Nascar 2018 "Legend Trophy": the Belgian driver of the Braxx Racing team has won the trophy in the last two years and is once again in command of the classification that rewards the over-40 drivers; despite an advantage of 20 points at the end of the regular season, De Weerdt is well aware that the task will not be easy, because with points doubled up for grabs for each race, every little mistake could prove to be fatal. In addition, the Swiss rookie Parli was the creator of a progression that brought him his best result of the season in the last race at the Tours Speedway. New energy after the summer break, I'm ready to fight all the way to get into the Top 10 and for the Challengers Trophy title. At the moment we are third but with the double score rule in the play-offs is still all under discussion. I trust the professionalism of the guys of the Race Art Technology team to have at disposal a very competitive medium, as always”.

Francesco Parli comments: "I am really happy with our season, we are using 2018 to prepare the future and the results have been constantly improving, the whole team has done a great job and we are better understanding the car every time we go down the track. Our goal was to close the season in the top-10. I think we are on track to succeed and being in the race also in the Legend Trophy adds further motivation for the next four races.”
